Outfielder Nick Swisher will decline the New York Yankees $13.3 million qualifying offer, his agent, Dan Lozano, confirmed in an email Friday.
Under the new collective bargaining agreement, teams receive a first-round draft pick if the player offered a qualifying one-year deal signs with another club during free agency.
